It machines cleanly, sands to a very high polish, and holds fine details well, making it excellent for intricate joinery. Finishing: Accepts finishes exceptionally well. An oil or lacquer finish will bring out the wood’s deep lustre and vibrant figuring. Gluing: Glues reliably to create strong and lasting joints. Hardness: Durable enough to be hard-wearing, yet not so hard as to cause difficulty with hand or power tools.
